Pie In The Sky

Los Angeles

This condo did not need to become something entirely different. It needed a stronger point of view. We opened the kitchen, simplified the palette, and created a more cohesive foundation, then Dan carried the design through the fourth layer, selecting everything from furniture and rugs to lighting, art, accessories, and plants.

The best interiors tell you something about the people who live there.

For this home, that meant finding a place for a collection of rare snowboards that actually mattered to the owner. Rather than treating them like memorabilia, Dan integrated the boards throughout the space as graphic art, giving the home something personal that could never be replicated from a catalog.

Reworked, not rebuilt.

Existing cabinetry was reworked, new flooring connected the rooms, and an oversized island with walnut details gave the space more warmth and presence without forcing a complete rebuild.

The fourth layer is where a house starts to feel like home.

From the larger furniture pieces down to the plants and smaller objects, every selection was chosen to add personality, warmth, and a sense that the space belonged to one specific person.

Personal, layered, and impossible to copy exactly.
