Rockin’ Loft

Damen was a great size space with a horribly outdated interior. This property was in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. We completely gutted this space leaving only the original hardwood floors and layout in place.

The loft was given a stain of almost black floors. This grounded the space and gave it some much needed depth. The old brick was white washed with a high glass paint. We had removed a small front closet when you first walked in. This provided an interesting space to work with. We were able to do a custom build out for a home office where the closet used to be

Our kitchen had a sleek and clean look to it. We had a high gloss cabinet choice, custom pendent lighting and black countertops. The kitchen was in the center of the living space giving you the ability to socialize with anyone in the great room.

Our bathroom was extended and we continued the darker theme into it. We put in a dark and moody shower with a clean glass enclosure. This felt seamless as the eye gazed from the hardwood floor upward.

We added an additional closet to the bedroom. This gave us a full walk in and an additional reach in. Both were outfitted with custom closets.
